![]() ![]() And these are just a few ways to screw with "fair AI" off the top of my head. Buying bikes for energy and selling them for less energy+ some cosmite if you have the relevant doctrine from the Therians is a loophole I recently found, it gives you the opportunity to buy unlimited amounts of cosmite for energy very cheaply. Abusing normal mechanics like cooldown resets to spawn literally endless hordes of flying arc-shooting malware demons, or just repeatedly bash the battlefield every turn with something that was only supposed to hit once per battle. Pushing limits on what units can do with clever mods combinations. Casual players are exempt from this, but a lot of players will min-max one way or another. I don't mean to be contrarian, but a lot of players deserve cheating opponents. I'd rather have a competent AI with 2 armies of high tier units than a stupid one with massive "I WIN" army stacks. Higher difficulties kill the game's fun tbh. I get that fighting at higher difficulties is supposed to be a challenge but sometimes its just absolutely retarded how much power the AI has with only 3 colonies and somehow is able to afford other stuff like Operations on top of massive top tier armies. Its beyond frustrating that the AI can just roflstomp you if you play the game how it is supposed to be played but you can dominate them if you play the game using unfixed NPC cosmite and energy diplomacy exploits. When I can only afford and have the time for two armies of tier 2 and two or three tier 3 units with average mods amongst them while the AI can just shit out like 6 armies with all mid and top tier units with good mods by turn 40 it just makes me want to stay out of the higher difficulties. I just want to fight armies that develop on the same level as me tbh.
